“There is a saying that you should not judge another until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Size9 represents the idea of a shoe, and building empathy is the heart of our approach.”

About The Team

Connecting
The Size9 team are creative and strategic, connecting ideas, tools and techniques to create something new and powerful. We are strategic, build authentic relationships, connect people to their goals, purpose or “Why”.

Uplifting
We are an inspiring, warm and energetic bunch of humans. We believe in creating environments and experiences where people feel safe to included, motivated and safe to learn, grow and embrace change.

Grounding
While mixing, blending and creating, we are also down to earth. We ensure that what we deliver is relevant, practical and achieves the desired outcome.
The Size9 team have a unique skill set and experience in designing and delivering a wide range of immersive experiences including art and creative based programs – perfect for building a new project team, anchoring an important organisational goal or supporting professional development programs including diversity, inclusion initiatives, leadership, human centred design, creative thinking and innovation workshops.

Empathy
Building empathy is the heart of what we do.
We believe in the Human Centred Design approach, where we step into the shoes of our stakeholders, putting aside our own values, beliefs and assumptions to deliver something that is truly of value to them. We use techniques such as persona’s, empathy maps, interviews, day in the life of, and immersing ourselves in their world.
Empathy is also the foundation of our Walk-a-While programs, where the goal is to build greater understanding of people, communities and stakeholders who are different from ourselves.

Our Size9 Empathy Toolkit is a practical and powerful set of tools we can use if clients need to address common empathy gaps, which can lead to silo thinking, lack of alignment or trust, group think, failed change initiatives and to promote a more diverse and inclusive culture.
